Big Red Class of 1960
60th Reunion Committee Web Site: bigredclassof1960.com Dear Members, Class of 1960, This letter is a follow-up to a letter that we were going to send all of you on May 31st. If you had read that letter, you would have seen what we were going through while we addressed various hurdles that would have had to be overcome in order to hold our reunion in August. The two biggest hurdles were, and still are, the (1) restrictions applicable to COVID-19 and (2) our Saturday night get-together for a class dinner. The bottom line, as it now stands, is that COVID-19 is still with us, and the restaurant that we had selected could not, at this time, assure us of seating our entire group. Additionally, even though time will tell us how this all plays out, there are still predictions from some corners that a second wave of this virus will return in the fall. I personally have always been a risk taker, but this time around, I’m thinking about all of the class members who are still with us. Therefore, with all that is still going on, we’ve decided to postpone our reunion until either the end of the first quarter of 2021, or sometime in the earlier part of the second quarter of 2021. I’m sorry that we have to send you this news – but as they say in today’s language, “It Is What It Is!” Love and care for all of you, and if God is willing, you will hear from me/us again before too long. Please cancel any reservations you may have made to avoid charges. Sincerely, Dohrman Sinclair – co-chair with Bill Geiger and John Scavdis Dohrman Sinclair: 623-776-6626 Bill Geiger: 703-499-0440 John Scavdis: 304-670-6948 Important Reminders:
