What have I been doing?  Since we retired in the 1990s my husband and I:  crossed the Arctic Circle and "walked on" the Arctic Ocean at Prudhoe Bay, Alaska; rode camels in Australia; crossed Europe from Austria to the Netherlands by river ship; saw the Crown Jewels in London.  With these adventures there were adventures in eating.  We tasted emu, camel, kangaroo, and crocodile in Alice Springs, Australia; Weiner Schnitzel in Vienna, Austria; and haggis, neeps, and tatties in Inverness, Scotland.  When we're not traveling or visiting grandchildren, I volunteer in my community (rocked babies at a day care facility and am now volunteering at the Ohio Genealogical Society library).

I married Mary Jane Arthurs (Big Red Class of 1959) 51 years ago and we have 5 children and 11 beautiful grandchildren.  We have been living in Wilmington, NC for the past12 years and have no plans to leave.  All five of our children live in North Carolina with three (and 5 grandchildren) in the Wilmington area.  I retired from the military in 1990 and then retired for good in 2010.  We thank the Lord everyday for the many blessings He has brought into our lives and for the gift of His Son.  Look forward to seeing a number of clasmates at the 55th reunion..

Enjoying life here in rural SE Wisconsin. Close to Milwaukee and only 2 hours to Chicago. Retired from nursing 6 years ago after working in adult mental health. Still try to do the local flu shot program when I can.
I have 3 children, 2 step-children and 7 grandchildren. Several live close by so I can be grandma. All others, we see frequently.
Am a caregiver for my husband who has Parkinson's. I still find time for Bible study, quilting for church, and various crafts.
I love animals and currently have 2- 6 month old kittens.

55th Class Reunion Committee Member.  Very honored to have served on the 40th, 45th, 50th,and now the 55th Class Reunion Committee.  I worked for 7 yrs in the DC Area for C&P Telephone Co. while I earned an AA in Accounting.  I completed my education at George Washington University and graduated with a BS in Accounting in 1977.  My first accounting position was with Ringling Bros Barnum & Bailey Circus in 1971.  I later passed the CPA Exam and became a CPA in 1988.  I am not contemplating retirement as of yet, but I have cut back on client work.  I am still not sure what I want to be when I grow up.. My wife Karen and I have moved our consulting businesses from the DC Area to the mountains of North Carolina in 2007.  Karen has also been active on the 40th, 45th, 50th, and 55th Reunion Committees, and is the webmistress for the class web site.

Ufortunately, will not be able to attend the reuntion. My husband and I love to travel and will be on a cruise starting August 28 for 2 weeks. We live outside Atlanta and love it here. My husband, Wes, graduated from Georgia Tech so we love activities there and in downtown Atlanta.

Paul and I have 8 children and 22 grandchildren (ages 2-21).  After graduating from the University of Dayton, we lived in Cleveland for 20 years.  In 1982, we moved to Duluth, MN.  Following in my parents footsteps, I taught for 20 years in Duluth.  In 2002, we moved to The Villages, FL.  It is a very active retirement community of 77,000 residents.  I play a lot of tennis and golf.

For those fo you who knew my parents---we moved them to Duluth in 1987---my father passed away in 1993, at the age of 91; my mother passed away in 1995, at 88 years of age.  It was a pleasure having them near us in their final years.

I retired six years ago after 31 years with the State of Ohio as an administrator.  Thanks to Mr. Hays, I majored in history at OSU and my Masters Degree was in Public Administration.  Thanks to Mary Coleman who influenced me tremendously, I developed a love of travel and have traveled all over the world in the last 25 years and attended ffive olympics.  I have three children and two step children and nine grandchildren and we enjoy spending lots of time with them and with our families (two sisters live in Steubenville).  I have also enjoyed keeping in touch over the years with many many classmates.  Hobbies are travel, reading, skiing, political action.
