Looking forward to seeing all my former classmates. I've been teaching right here in Steubenville for the past 37 years at Eastern Gateway Community College (formerly Jefferson Community College; some knew it as "Jeff Tech"). Prior to this, I was in Houston, TX for 4 yrs as a geophysical programmer, and before that teaching at Slippery Rock State College (now University) for 2 yrs. Got my education at Bethany College, then from University of Toledo, and from the University of Dayton. Hope to see my old friends in a few weeks! |

The years have flown by so quickly. My wife Elaine and I put off aging by having our children late, but there's no getting around it when y'all remind me that my 50th is around the corner. By and large, though, we are blessed and we know it. I am reminded of Ringo Starr's words a few weeks ago when he passed 70 -- most of the time, in his mind, at least, he felt like the 28 year old he once was. During the next week or so, I will try to dig up a few of our classmates including Lenny Buckle, Sophie Mastros, Jim Niederhuber, Butch Levite, Bill Cox , Al Lubrin, Gary Rogers , Ronnie Morgan, Bill Weisberger Gary Peterson and Dixie Dudukovich. Can they have aged as well? Oh, Carolyn, Sara and Pat -- how are you? Stay tuned. |

| Comment: Ethel and I live across the river in Follansbee, WV. After 36 years of work, I retired from Weirton Steel in 2002 as gerneral supervisor of the BOP laboratory. After retirement I did teach at a local community college for a while and work for the US census in 2010. I have a 14 year old grandson and two granddaughters 10 and 8 years of age, that I enjoy very much. I Volunteer much of my time to my church.Looking good. See you all soon. | |
